When I had my first child, I gained 40 pounds and probably kept on 15. Then I had my second child and packed on 64 pounds—and kept it all on. I was miserable. I felt fat all the time. I was wearing long, big sweaters and size 18 jeans. My shoes didn't fit. My face looked round. I was not happy, I was not healthy and I was not me. I dieted, but not with much luck. I even started to watch my carbs and join a gym. But all in all, it was a year of trying to slim down with no real significant results.

My best friend got engaged and I was going to be her maid of honor. So this became my hardcore goal: to lose the weight and fit into the gorgeous tight gown that I wanted to wear for her wedding. I knew I had to try something that I had never done before. That is when I started Nutrisystem. Now, I'm fitting into size 12 designer jeans, and I am on my way to a size 10.* I have never in my life been a size 10!
